In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!

Pen & Ink: Tattoos and their Stories
Rarely does a tattoo get inked without there being a meaning behind it. Pen & Ink is a site celebrating both the picture and story behind tattoos. Cool.
I find this particular person's thoughts interesting. I'm of two minds about ink. I appreciate the art and the personal expression, but part of me isn't comfortable with it. Maybe it's more on the side of not understanding the appeal. And the permanence. What if it doesn't match your outfit? What if you're feeling goth when you get it, and then you go through an elegant phase. I don't think that they really work with an evening gown unless you're Elvira. Not sure why I'm all venty about this today, but I have had a trying day where I've had to be very diplomatic in long meetings. Now, I can say what I really think about something. LOL Thank you for being my friend!
If I could decide where, I'd get 3 Pooh Honeybees in a heartbeat. Why get one if no one will see it, and why put it where you can't cover it if you need to?
