In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!
I must admit that I was a little afraid when I saw the title of this. I wondered, "Does this involve firecrackers or an air compressor?" But I really enjoyed that. Very cute!
