In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!

Dare I admit that I don't get it. Admittedly, I live under a rock. lol I did some googling, and alas, I'm still in the dark. ;) Cute picture though.
