In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!
I I think that this video is going completely viral. I've been seeing it everywhere though I just watched it for the first time. The child is so charming. Wouldn't be surprised if she (?) turns out to be a maestro someday.
