In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!

And people wonder why kids are reluctant to try new foods. LOL My fav was the kid tasting orange. He liked it, and it was getting better and better.
