In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!

Rock on, Xylophone Dude!
I think Play Station needs "Xylophone Hero" as it's next game. It'd give "Guitar Hero" and "Rock Band" some stiff competition. Just sayin'.
