In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!

Kid dances with Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders - Gangnam Style 11/25
Just in case a little hip-swivvlin' action is on tap for ringing in the new year..
I'm having visions of the future. That kid's gonna be a star. Not only did he do it right and in synch with everyone, but he was in front, so he couldn't watch anyone else as a guide, but he also perfected that "give me more" gesture to the audience. He's got a good balance of talent and bravado to make it.
