In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!

Cuz February 29th is officially the most Gleetarded day of the year!
Well, I tried, but no one would consent to marry me. I guess it's back to me and my imaginary friend. LOL Hope you enjoyed your Gleetarded day. I finished my last Spiritual Journey post to go up @ 3 AM. Man, that is emotionally draining. I'm glad I did it, but I'm glad it's over. Whew! It didn't leave me feeling particularly Gleetarded. Must be time for chocolate. :D
Maybe you need to know more Scandinavians or at least men who get the tradition? Did you ask any Danes and get dozens of new gloves at least? ;P
I think your Journey, and the open publishing of it, is brilliant. You'll be asked often, and you're answers are easily accessible. Plus, it truly is something we all should contemplate.
And yes, you need to balance such heavy brain work with a severe dose of glee, chocolate covered being at the top of my list! Yin-yang, baby--keep it balanced!
