In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!

Dragon Baby
I soooo wish I had the ability to do stuff like this with my video equipment and computer skills.
I was looking at the "making of" video, and there was a whole production team and stunt guys. So, don't feel bad about not being able to turn your kids into ninjas. When you do that, you'll be ready to work for George Lucas at Industrial Light & Magic. ;)
