In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!
My favorite description is in the "Espresso" comment. "You actually like the taste of coffee, a rare, but admirable trait." I feel vindicated as a non-coffee drinker. The rest of the people are just masochists! lol
