In music to "ritard" is to gradually slow the tempo. It works in life, too: do something wickedly wonderful that makes everything stop til you get yourself together. Laugh yourself silly and drag others along with you!
"Ten pounds of gummy bears were eventually eaten after the making of this film." LOL Someone who clearly has too much time on their hands. But very fun and retro. The sound effects were very appropriate. :)
